Rome Travel Guide (with Offline Maps) - mTrip app good for

Good offline GPS navigation, but not very easy to identify the monuments in the map, which makes it hard to use in the center of Rome, where the monument icons overlap.

I cant travel without it anymore. It really worth. Best (and the only one you need) trip app ever. Thank you guys!

Could be updated. Finding current location could be quicker, but overall good App

I walked around and just checked whats near me now. Very useful because it works/gives information about the places/sites offline just with GPS signal. Hope itll be further extended with "less" important sites.

I bought the application Rome mTrip. Nice screens, simple step by step configuration. I love the way they suggest POI based on your interest level for museums, monuments and so on. Lots of information. I found that some menus could have been a bit clearer to ease my navigation. Nevertheless, a great addition to my journey in Rome.

We went to Rome with mTrip and four other "top five" apps. We easily used mTrip 90% of the time. Excellent map/scheduling/guide. Pros: good organizer, great map (works offline) good guidebook (updates fairly constantly). Cons: Some location glitches - the program sometimes thought we werent in Rome (you can fix by turning iPhone on and off). Biggest complaint is that you cant pin your appointments to a specific time, so that every time you add an event you have to reshuffle the days itinerary manually (ie if you have a restaurant or museum reservation specifically for 1 pm adding other events will move it around in the day and youll need to manually correct for that). BOTTOM LINE: Extremely useful.

Some bad moments

Cumbersome no quick add or search functions. Many major places not listed or hard to find. Would be great if you could easily get you stops in. Doe snot even have major airports listed

Writing this review from Rome and I am very displeased with the performance of this app. The offline map is terrible at best, tried multiple times today to get a fix but was unable every time. The info on the different sites is a great option but save yourself some money and just get a old fashioned tour book with a map instead.

Too pricey and just gives info from public websites. I would rather use tripit and other cheaper Rome travel planner apps.
